Adult Discussion Series: Reading the Signs of the Times
Reading the Signs of the Times are small group discussions that bring parishoners together to to discuss questions that matter to them and the larger public arena. Participants are encouraged to consider the impact of their life experiences, their values, and their faith on important public questions facing us today. Each volume of the Reading the Signs of the Times series is meant to be facilitated by a member of the parish. Advent, the month of January, and Lent all present excellent opportunities for facilitating these discussions. Our hope is that hundreds of Catholics across the Archdiocese will enter into honest, respectful, and deliberative conversation through Reading the Signs of the Times. OSJ is pleased to present the third volume of the Reading the Signs of the Times series: "Creating A Quality Life for Minnesotans." As the 2006 MN elections draw near, exploring what “quality of life” means is essential as we consider who will represent our values in the public arena. OSJ will accept bulk orders for this booklet at a rate of $1.00/copy, plus postage. Or, you may print it off the Web, copy, and assemble yourself - it is already prepared in booklet format.
